North Bay City Council will host a virtual town hall meeting on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.
This two-hour event will be open to the public and will provide an opportunity for presentations on any and all matters that fall within the jurisdiction of the municipality.
This meeting is the second town hall hosted by Council since the format was added to the City’s procedural bylaw as part of an update last year.
The first meeting in September was sparsely attended with just two presenters, prompting Councillor Marcus Tignanelli to say, "The first virtual town hall was quite frankly a letdown."

Participants are required to register with the Clerk at [email protected] and to provide a brief outline of their presentation by noon on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
You can only speak for up to three minutes but you can also make written submissions to the Clerk that will be circulated to Council.
The town hall will be conducted electronically through Zoom and broadcast live on City’s website and on YouTube.
