The Nipissing University Teaching Hub has been recognized with a Catalyst Award for its innovative use of Blackboard Learn to advance learning.
Founded in 2005, the Catalyst Awards recognize and honour innovation and excellence within Anthology's global community, where millions of educators and learners work every day to redefine what is possible when leveraging technology.
"The Catalyst Award for Teaching and Learning is awarded to those that have redefined what is possible in the classroom by adopting new delivery and pedagogical models and tools that positively influenced the educational experience, increased flexibility, further learner and instructor efficiency, and fostered academic excellence, with measurable results," says a news release.
“The Teaching Hub team offers programming that supports teachers and learners,” said Dr. Patrick Maher, Dean of Teaching at Nipissing."
