Nipissing University is  restricting building access effective tomorrow, (Friday) at 9 p.m.

"Given the ongoing developments regarding COVID-19 in Ontario, Nipissing University employees, other than those needed for required duties, will be working from home effective Monday, March 23," says a news release from the university. "This protocol will be in effect until Monday, April 6, at which point we will re-evaluate the situation. "

The university is telling all students currently living in residence to leave prior to Sunday at 7 p.m., unless there are extenuating circumstances.

All Student Services are being offered virtually or through alternative methods.

"While we endeavor to remain business as usual, we thank our campus community and stakeholders for their understanding that there may be some unanticipated gaps particularly as we familiarize ourselves with remote work tools," says the release.

"As this is a very fluid situation, we will continue to monitor closely and provide updates as appropriate."
