It appears Laurentian Ski Hill has found a new vendor to operate the lower chalet this coming season.
Just recently, Average Joe's Eatery and Patio Bar announced that it will be running the lower chalet.
"Get ready for some good eats and skiing this upcoming season at Laurentian," Average Joe's stated via social media.
Laurentian Ski Hill made the announcement last week naming Average Joe's Eatery and Patio Bar as their new "food beverage server at the lower lodge this winter."
Average Joe's, located nearby on the shores of Trout Lake, takes over for the Laurentian Cafe, which operated on a seasonal basis in the lower chalet from December 2009 to May 2023.
The announcement is some good news for Laurentian Ski Hill as the board has been working with the City of North Bay on an operating budget plan and funding assistance from the city for the upcoming season.
