A fresh coat of paint, new artwork, plus exciting events and opportunities at North Bay’s public art gallery, says a news release.
"The WKP Kennedy Gallery has refreshed its programming for the rest of January with brand-new exhibits and special occasions to visit," says the release. "Set within the chillingly beautiful months of the season, the ‘Winter Wonderland’ pop-up exhibit and sale feature the works of nine local artists. Inspired by a winter landscape, these artworks range from paintings, photography, and even textile work. The exhibit is on view until March third.
The gallery will also be welcoming the work of some talented university students this month in the Nipissing Fine Arts Juried Exhibition. With a variety of original artwork selected by the guest juror and prolific local painter, Colin Davis, the exhibition will showcase a new generation of emerging artists amidst their academic journey as part of the Nipissing Fine Arts program.
As a solo-exhibiting artist, Ashley Guenette, continues to receive praise into the new year.
