There's been more sign damage during the federal election campaign. Further details are included in the following news release from the Anthony Rota campaign, issued earlier today:

The members of the Anthony Rota campaign team continue to be frustrated by the damage being caused to their campaign signs.
Sometime over the weekend the two Anthony Rota billboards by the Canadian Tire on McKeown were vandalized with spray paint.
“As we head into the last week of the election, we now have two very expensive signs that can not be replaced,” said Peter Gavan, Campaign Manager for the Rota team.
“I find it very surprising that damage of this magnitude can occur without anyone seeing or reporting anything,” Gavan said.
“Ideally I would hope that anyone, regardless of his or her political persuasion, would contact the police if they came upon someone damaging signs; unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to be the case,” Gavan concluded.
