Missing monkey! Can you help this little girl?

'We would love if people just kept an eye open. We would sure have one happy little girl if we could find it'

This weekend's Santa parade was a great time for children, but for one little girl, gladness turned to sadness.

Two and a half-year-old Renee is heartbroken after she lost her beloved stuffed monkey, nicknamed "Old Baby" sometime during the parade.

"My daughter got the monkey when she was born from a dear friend's daughter," Mom Micheline St. Onge told BayToday. "We sure appreciate all that everyone has done with sharing this.

"We think we lost it when we started walking as we turned from Fraser St., where we parked, to Chippewa St. We noticed it missing after the parade. We searched the entire area repeatedly but no monkey. If anyone has picked it up please let us know

Renee's mom says they are not looking for donations of any kind, as much as people have offered.

"We would just love if people could keep an eye out. She truly just wants her old monkey back. We have bought another but its 'too fluffy' according to her. She loves her old ratty looking monkey best. We thank you and everyone so, so, much and I look forward to when she's older to show how much people cared and helped her find her not so fluffy friend."
