Minor school bus collision in Bonfield

OPP news release

(Bonfield, ON) – North Bay OPP is investigating a minor collision between a school bus and a vehicle that occurred at the intersection of James Street and Schayer Street, Bonfield, Ontario at 12 noon today (Thursday February 16th, 2006).

There were no school children onboard and no one was injured during the minor mishap. The school bus was traveling eastbound and making a right hand turn southbound on to Schayer Street. A blue 1992 Nissan Maxima was traveling northbound on Schayer Street approaching the intersection. The Nissan collided into the side of the bus making its turn. The school bus sustained minor damage to the passenger side and the Nissan sustained moderate front end damage.

There were no charges relating to the collision.
