Tahini’s Restaurants, a Mediterranean fusion cuisine restaurant, one of Canada’s fastest-growing restaurant chains, is now open in North Bay.
Tahini’s opened this weekend at 1720 Algonquin Avenue and offers "bold, authentic Mediterranean fusion flavours that have made Tahini’s a Canadian favourite," says a news release. "Guests can look forward to a diverse menu featuring mouthwatering shawarmas, inventive fusion bowls and shareable appetizers."

The restaurant is owned by franchisees with a track record of success with brands like Micho Burrito and Freshii.

There are now 50 franchise locations in operation and it's expanding across Canada and the United States with ambitious plans to expand globally. The brand is poised to double its footprint, aiming for a total of 100 restaurants by 2025.
