The North Bay Parry Sound Health Unit is reintroducing a requirement to wear a mask in its clinical areas and waiting rooms.
The move is effective immediately with the Health Unit citing the traditional holiday season peak of respiratory illness activity as the reason.
The Health Unit's masking requirement follows closely on the heels of similar enhanced measures in long-term care homes and the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

The local Health Unit says it will provide masks to those who visit its facilities and thanks visitors for their cooperation.
With respiratory illness activity typically peaking at end of Dec. or early Jan., we're bringing back the masking requirement in our clinical areas and waiting rooms, effective today. If you forget your mask, don't worry, we'll have one for you. Thx for your cooperation!❤️
