Lesa Lingenfelter of Trout Creek is celebrating after winning a TRIPLE MILLIONS prize worth $100,000 in the August 29 Main Draw.
Lingenfelter , a personal support worker, has been playing the lottery with OLG for more than 20 years. She typically picks up LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49 tickets weekly, but her decision to try OLG’s limited-time lottery game TRIPLE MILLIONS has her celebrating her first big win.
“My daughter told me about the TRIPLE MILLIONS game, so I decided to pick one up,” she recalled while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect her winnings. “I checked my ticket using the OLG app and screamed when I saw the prize amount. I scanned it so many times!” she laughed.
“I ran to find my husband and said, ‘I just won $100,000!’ He was thrilled for me.”
With her windfall, Lesa plans to take a cruise vacation with her family and complete some home renovations.
“I’m just on cloud nine! Dreams do come true, and this time, it happened to me! It’s just amazing,” she concluded.
The winning ticket was purchased at Trout Creek General Store on Main Street in Trout Creek.
