A news release says and recognizes the need for a provincial government that prioritizes the well-being of people living in small cities and rural communities.
“I’m excited for this opportunity to continue serving my community by holding important conversations about the issues that matter most to people in Nipissing,” said Chaput.
“We need to work together to deliver social and climate justice so that our children can continue to celebrate the natural beauty of our riding.”
“Colton has a long track record of volunteer service and close ties to Nipissing," said Ontario Greens leader Mike Schreiner. “I know he’ll be a strong voice for his community and always put people before politics."
Chaput joins Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli in the race. Fedeli is seeking a fifth term.
