Blue Sky Bingo Hall is hoping it's a big win for them as they re-open on Friday, July 16 as part of Stage 3 re-opening plan across Ontario.
Jeffrey Brown is the Blue Sky Bingo Hall Charity Administrator. He says they are thrilled to be re-opening.
"Being shut down for so long has been hard as a business, but we know that many people are suffering similar or worse situations," said Brown.
"We would like to thank all the healthcare workers and officials who have, and continue to work tirelessly through the pandemic. As well as send heartfelt condolences to the families who experienced loss during this time.
"We see COVID-19 deaths as numbers on a chart being compared to a percentage, these people see it at its true human cost, and when assessing our own financial hardships, we must not lose sight of that."
Brown says the facility will allow a maximum of 100 people and they will be performing standard contact tracing before bingo enthusiasts enter the building off Airport Road on the north end of North Bay.
"While we are not all the way back to normal, and likely will not be for some time, hopefully for our charities, our customers and everyone across the province this stage 3 re-opening is a springboard to more community fundraising and activities.
"We look forward to the re-opening. We look forward to welcoming back our bingo family!"
