An odd accident on Algonquin Avenue is causing a disruption to southbound traffic turning left.
A witness tells BayToday that a transport was turning left onto the bypass from the outside lane, when a large piece of steel mining equipment fell off the flatbed onto the rear of a crew cab pickup truck that was turning left on the inside lane.
No injuries are reported and police and firefighters are presently on-scene.
