North Bay OPP is investigating a serious single-vehicle ATV rollover on Highway 522 that left the driver with life-threatening injuries yesterday afternoon.
The driver was initially transported by ambulance to an open area in Powassan and then airlifted to hospital via Ornge air ambulance for treatment.
The westbound lane of Highway 522 was closed for approximately 5.5 hours.
The OPP's Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team is assisting with this ongoing investigation. The Argyle Fire Department and North Bay Ambulance also responded.
Police say further updates will be provided as information becomes available.
