Jerry O'Connell has been seen everywhere across North Bay this summer.
Add North Bay Memorial Gardens to the list.
O'Connell was a special guest of the North Bay Battalion at the home opener against the Barrie Colts Friday night.
He did the puck drop with ReMax's Shannon Unger and then walked across the ice to help sing the National Anthem with students from M.T. Davidson, almost slipping and doing a cartwheel on the ice while he was helped across the ice by Sarge. He was also given a Battalion jersey.
Battalion Communications Director Scott Walpole believes it's the first time someone has done the ceremonial puck drop and sung the anthem in Battalion franchise history.
Jerry O'Connell, who is arguably the new tourism director for North Bay, has been all over the city in the past few months, taking part in celebrity wrestling, singing karaoke and stopping for anyone and everyone who wants a selfie with him while still doing his job as the actor in the TV series Carter that is being shot in the North Bay area.
On Thursday, the Mayor of North Bay gave him the key to the city.
