Jennifer Jones is no stranger to North Bay curling fans.
This is the second time she's been in town for a Pinty's Grand Slam event and she captured the Ford World Women's curling championship here back in 2018. That was her second title and she's also won Olympic gold and two World Championships.
What's different this time at the Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling Boost National 2022 at Memorial Gardens is she's on a new rink.
Her team includes the Mackenzie Zacharias team which also features Emily Zacharias, Karlee Burgess and Lauren Lanentine.
Jones says it's been a good transition.
"My teammates are tremendous players and tremendous people. We're having a ton of fun out there and hopefully teaching each other a few things along the way."
She says there haven't been any challenges.
"It's been easy peasy with these girls. They're so easy to be around and we all have the same mindset. You never know when you get into it but for us, it's been a really easy transition,".
Jones says it's great to be back in North Bay.
"This is one of my favourite places in the world. The hospitality, the food, the arena and amazing memories. This is one of the most amazing curling communities."

Jones says she loves the atmosphere when she curls here.
"Back at the worlds the building was sold out and when we were making a shot it was so loud in here I could hear my bones vibrating. It was an experience of a lifetime. Keep coming out North Bay."
