It's municipal election day across Ontario and polls open at 10 a.m.
Voters will elect their mayor, councillors and school board trustees.
You are eligible if you are:
- a Canadian citizen,
- at least 18 years old,
- reside in the local municipality, or are the owner or tenant of land in the local municipality, or the spouse of such a person; and
- are not prohibited from voting under any law.

Bring ID!
Identification is needed when you go to vote. Remember to bring one piece of ID showing your name and qualifying North Bay address. Your Voter Information Card cannot be used as a piece of ID.
If you do not have an acceptable ID and are not on the voters’ list, you will be asked to return with your ID in order to receive a ballot.
