The 2nd Annual Hot Summer Night is a go for August 4-5.

Following a successful debut in 2022, the Hot Summer Night Music Festival will return to the Kiwanis Bandshell at North Bay's waterfront to put on a show filled with an eclectic slate of musical acts as part of the City of North Bay's Civic long weekend celebration.

Last year's show featuring the Jesse Thomas Band with special guest Jake Thomas was a hit with local music fans. A call for musicians to apply to join the roster this year received more than 50 expressions of interest.

The two-day event will kick off on Friday, August 4 with Caley Campbell & the Cadillacs taking the stage from 7–9 p.m. See the band perform "Crocodile Tears of Joy" below:

The lineup on Saturday, August 5 will feature many talented local acts with The County as the headliner.

Saturday's headliners shared the news about the upcoming gig with their fans on social media: "The County is so proud to be one of the bands selected out of 50+ submissions to perform at the waterfront’s Kiwanis Bandshell this summer! We will be headlining on the Saturday of the Civic long weekend. It is such a pleasure to live in a city that promotes LIVE and LOCAL music. Now it’s up to y’all to get out there and support your musicians and city! THANK YOU North Bay!
