Organizers promise several new initiatives to help connect thousands of homeowners with more than 100 vendors at Memorial Gardens Feb. 23-25, including the Resilience Fair, which showcases sustainable practices through presentations and workshops

The North Bay Home & Garden Expo is back better than ever with several new initiatives to help connect thousands of homeowners with more than 100 vendors at Memorial Gardens Feb. 23-25.

The annual North Bay Home Builders Association event features everything from contractors and flooring experts to kitchen and bath specialists, hot tubs, granite countertops, solar specialists, insulation, security solutions, and more.

"We are excited to welcome the community to the 2024 North Bay Home & Garden Expo, where we have curated an extensive lineup of vendors and added the Resilience Fair to address the pressing issues of our time. This year's event is not only an opportunity to discover the latest trends in home and garden improvement but also to engage in meaningful conversations about sustainability and resilience," says Scott Clark, the event's organizer and spokesperson.

  • Time: Friday 3 to 8 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

  • Non-perishable grocery donation (All gate proceeds go directly to the North Bay Food Bank)

A groundbreaking addition to the Expo is the Resilience Fair, which showcases sustainable practices through presentations and workshops. Numerous community groups and Indigenous knowledge holders are involved. The Fair features "GoodLife Goals" and local initiatives related to climate change, food security, conservation and community well-being – plus the Ecological Footprint Calculator.

Also new this year at the Home & Garden Expo is the North Bay Echo booth, where several podcast shows are being recorded Saturday and Sunday. Fans of the To North Bay With Love podcast will have a chance to meet host Lisa Boivin, as well as Bill Steer of the Backroads Bill show and Dave Dale of Small Town Times/Back in the Bay Magazine. More podcasters and a schedule to be announced closer to the date.
