The North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation is preparing for its annual “Holidays at the Hospital” where joy is spread during the holiday season to long-term patients.

"This initiative aims to bring the spirit of giving to those who need it most," says a release,

Here's how you can help:

  • Choose a gift tag from the specially decorated Christmas trees at NBRHC
  • Purchase and wrap the requested gift
  • Drop off your wrapped gift to the NBRHC Foundation by Saturday, December 8,

In addition, donations are needed to help replenish the Patient Clothing Cupboard. It helps patients who arrive in crisis or who need appropriate clothing to be discharged with dignity. Clothing must be new and donations do not need to be gift-wrapped.

"Make this holiday season memorable for those spending it in the hospital. Your kindness can make a world of difference," says the release,
