We have a call in to the OPP after this item appeared on its Twitter feed.

"Active news #OPP in #NER report #Hwy11 closed between Bomarc site and old psych hospital as a precaution as airplane in distress."

witnesses say the plane landed safely at the Jack Garland Airport.
