Ontario 511 reports that weather conditions have closed Highway 11 North in both directions between Cedar Heights Road in North Bay to the junction of Highway 65 and 11 in New Liskeard.
Detour is available up Highway 63 into Quebec and into New Liskeard.
Highway 11 is also currently closed between Hearst and Longlac due to deteriorating weather and multiple disabled vehicles west of 631.
According to Ontario511, as of 1 p.m. today (Dec. 4), Highway 11 is fully closed from Clear Lake Road in Kapuskasing to Gravel Road in Calstock.
Meanwhile, Manitoulin OPP have charged six people for driving on Highway 17- when it was closed this morning.
"Driving on a closed highway poses a risk to the driver and occupants of the vehicle. It can also be dangerous for emergency personnel who are working in that closed section of the highway," said Manitoulin OPP Detachment Commander, Inspector Cavanagh.
The fine for driving on a closed highway is $110, and upon conviction three demerit points.
