Ontario 511 is reporting that a traffic accident has closed Highway 11 north in both directions between Cedar Heights Rd in North Bay and the junction of Highway 65 New Liskeard.
The accident happened around 6:30 this evening and OPP reports that one person has died.
The accident happened near Papa John's Road on Highway 11 south of Temagami. A resident living close by says highway conditions are bad at the crash site with glare ice.
It's reported at least two vehicles are involved, one being a transport and the other a sedan. There is no detour, however, motorists heading north from North Bay could take Highway 63 to Quebec and drive north to New Liskeard from there,
