Special weather statement issued for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing,
- Témiscaming area,
- South River - Burk's Falls,
- Huntsville - Burk's Falls
- Mattawa
- Bayfield Inlet - Dunchurch
- Barrie
Significant rainfall beginning Friday and continuing into the weekend. With the ground already saturated, there is the potential for local flooding.
Total rainfall amounts may approach 50 mm in some locales before the rain tapers to showers on the weekend.
Environment Canada will monitor this situation and issue further statements or warnings as the event draws closer.
