The City had such great success with a "Name the snowplow" event last year, that it is going back to the well to help name another snowplow this winter.
Last November, after 300 suggestions and over 600 votes, residents chose names for five City snowplows:
- Ctrl Salt Delete
- Catch My Drift
- Goon Makwa (Ojibwe translation for Snow Bear)
- Fast and Flurrious
- Snowminator

At the time, Maggie Horsfield, North Bay's deputy mayor, said the contest brought the community together.
"I think it will be fun seeing them drive around town, they are more than just the writing on the side, they have some flair to them as well," she said.
Now, it's time to name another one.
No prizes, but you'll have the satisfaction of seeing the winning name on the new plow as it fills your driveway this winter.
