At its regular meeting on June 15, Conseil scolaire public du Nord-Est de l’Ontario (CSPNE) approved a balanced budget of $51,418,352 dollars for the 2018-2019 school year according to a news release issued by the board.
The 2018-2019 budget presented by the CSPNE meets the objectives identified in the 2017-2021 Strategic Plan.
According to CSPNE Chairperson Denis Labelle, the budget reflects the Board’s "efficient and transparent management. “The Board’s budget process is rigorous and focused on achieving the targeted results for the 2018-2019 school year. “
