Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing,
- Greater Sudbury and vicinity,
- New Liskeard - Temagami,
Freezing rain is expected or occurring.
Freezing rain expected overnight tonight.
Snow or snow mixed with ice pellets will begin this evening and change to freezing rain overnight or early Friday morning during the transition from snow to rain.
Travel may be impacted or become hazardous at times.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
