Be prepared for more bad weather hitting our area tomorrow as snow and freezing rain moves in.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for:
- North Bay - West Nipissing,
- Greater Sudbury and vicinity,
- New Liskeard - Temagami,
- Kirkland Lake
Snow and ice pellets beginning Thursday afternoon changing to freezing rain Friday evening.
Precipitation will move into northeastern Ontario beginning Thursday afternoon. The precipitation is likely to begin as snow before changing to ice pellets and then to freezing rain late Thursday evening.
Snow and ice pellet amounts of a trace to 2 cm are likely.
The freezing rain, however, may last for several hours before changing to rain early Friday morning. Freezing rain warnings may be required.
