A drug raid in West Nipissing has resulted in the seizure of Fentanyl, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine.
On April 16 at 11 p.m., members of the OPP North East Region Community Street Crime Unit conducted a raid on a William Street home in West Nipissing.
Officers seized a number of drugs suspected to be Fentanyl, cocaine, crystal methamphetamine and cash. The street value of the drugs is approximately $46,000.
Patrick Roy 32, from West Nipissing, is charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking - opioid (other than heroin)
- Three counts of possession of a Schedule 1 Substance for the purpose of trafficking - other drugs
- Possession property obtained by crime under $5,000
- Failure to comply with release order
Roy has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice - Bail Court (video conferencing) on April 23 in North Bay.
