The accident yesterday morning that closed both lanes of Highway 11 south of Englehart, was a head-on collision involving two trucks say OPP.

The accident happened at 6:30 a.m.and the highway was closed until 3 p.m. in the Township of Evanturel.
OPP say further investigation revealed that a northbound truck entered the southbound lane and a southbound truck was in the same lane when the two collided.
The driver of the southbound truck died in the vehicle and will have a post-mortem examination in Toronto later today.
The driver of the northbound vehicle was rushed to hospital by Ornge air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
The OPP's Technical Traffic Collision Investigators and the Office of the Chief Coroner- Ontario Forensic Pathology Service are assisting with this investigation.
