On the evening of Tuesday June 11, OPP officers got a complaint that an assault had just occurred in the Marten River area.
OPP arrived and were told that the homeowner got a surprise visit from a family member who was with two friends. They stayed a short time and when they were asked to leave the homeowner was assaulted.
As a result of the investigation a 26 year old man from Caledon was charged with assault causing bodily harm.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court in North Bay on July 4.
