Temporary Lane and Sidewalk Closures on Algonquin Avenue
North Bay, ON – Aug. 22, 2024 – Please be advised of temporary disruptions to pedestrian and vehicular traffic on Algonquin Avenue between Bloem and McLaren streets.
From Monday, Aug. 26th, to Friday, Sept. 13th, the sidewalk on the west side of Algonquin Avenue in this area will be closed for the removal of the retaining wall adjacent to the former St. Joseph's Hospital site on McLaren Street.
Additionally, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., this portion of Algonquin Avenue will be reduced to one southbound lane for related construction work. Northbound traffic will not be affected.
