Eight new COVID-19 cases reported over the weekend

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting eight new COVID-19 cases over the weekend. The update from the weekend was released by the Health Unit at 10 a.m. Monday morning.

The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting eight new COVID-19 cases over the weekend. 

The update from the weekend was released by the Health Unit at 10 a.m. Monday morning. 

The eight new cases bring the total number since the beginning of the pandemic to 287 with all 15 active cases from the Nipissing portion of the district.  

Five of the new cases are related to close contact with a case. Two are travel-related.  

Three of the new cases involve individuals 20 to 39, two 40 to 59, two 60 to 79 and one is under 19 years of age.
