Driver charged in Highway 11 crash

The transport truck flipped over, spilling a load of steel pipe

A transport driver has been charged after an accident closed Highway 11 North for about seven hours Thursday afternoon.

The highway reopened at 8:30 p.m.

The transport truck flipped over, spilling a load of steel pipe across the road near Pan Lake, by Collins Dr. and Highway 64, south of Temagami.

"Driver charged with careless driving. All this because someone wasn't paying attention while driving," said a tweet on the OPP Twitter feed.
