The location for the city's first ‘Off-Leash Dog Park’ has been announced.
Details are slim, but the North Bay & District Humane Society and the City of North Bay are holding a news conference and ground breaking ceremony in the West Ferris section, in the city's south end.
The exact location appears to be in one of the existing parks, Champlain Park at the end of Premier Road.
A news release says the ceremony will take place next to the boat launch parking lot on Wednesday morning.
