Disguised teen steals 100 bucks...doesn't end well

This teen appears to be making some bad decisions early in life.

Yesterday evening, shortly after 7 p.m., members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the OPP were called to a robbery at a business located on Paget Street South. The thief had fled the scene on foot with approximately $100 in cash. 

A16-year old male was arrested and charged with:    

  • Robbery with Theft
  • Disguise with Intent 
  • Possession of Property Obtained by Crime 
  • Two counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance 
  • Five counts of Failing to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking

The teenager will appear for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury tomorrow.

Members of the Temiskaming Crime Unit, the Canine Unit and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) assisted with this investigation.
