Dirty Bingo this Tuesday at Lou Dawgs will help raise some funds for the AIDS Committee of North Bay and Area.
"It’s a 19+ adult evening filled with laughs, music, performances, and of course BINGO," says Kobe James, owner of Dinah Might Productions. "Drag performers can cater to any audience because that is what we do as performers, however, we wanted some adult fun for this one. That is also why we asked our very own local, Queen of Politics, Geri Atrick to host."
The rules are simple, each player is given a bingo card and if they complete a straight line, they win a special prize, usually a variety of adult items including vibrators, and dildos.
In the event of a tie, a sudden death match occurs with all winners, lining up at a table and competing to put a condom on a water bottle the fastest.
"We know raising funds is important for organizations like the AIDS Committee of North Bay and Area, because of all the great work they do, and there are so many people that need the support and love which they give regardless of background or who you love,“ added James.
“Drag performers have been targeted by hate groups all over Canada," says North Bay Pride Communications Director, Jason Maclennan "There have been protests at events. The hate online on social media is disturbing.
"When Kobe told us what they wanted to do for the drag community, create an adult-only event, while supporting a great organization, we asked how we can help. Everyone has been watching drag for years, like Clinger in M.A.S.H., Mrs. Doubtfire, Tootsie and so many more. Drag is art. Drag performers are artists.
This event will be held at Lou Dawgs, starting at 8 pm. Call Lou Dawgs and reserve your place at 705-478-5838, seats are $20 per person.
