Heritage Days 2006 in Downtown North Bay was a huge success.

Downtown North Bay had record numbers in the volume of people that visited the many events that were held on Main Street.

Big Luke's Heritage Armwrestling Challenge for Adults and Youth; Andrea Jackson Pilates demonstration; Barbara Treleaven Dancers; The Juggling Zambino; Vintage Car Display; Rorab Shriner Clowns; Toros selections from CATS and the Canadian Pond Hockey Face-off - Ball Hockey Challenge were some of the headline events that drew spectators of all ages.

Music was provided by local artists including Jim Harney; Kevin Schofield and Charlene Power. Local downtown merchants provided incredible events including: Cheapskates - Skateboard Competition; TW Foods BBQ; Gulliver's Quality Books - Pirate Party; Creative Learning - Make and Take Craft Table and the Nutty Chocolatier Face Painting; Cecil's Eatery - Bud Big Rig; The Moose Cookhouse - co-sponsor of the Armwrestling Challenge. Downtown Manager Jeff Serran thanks all who participated and attended this year's Downtown Heritage Days - during Heritage Festival Weekend in North Bay.
