There's no middle ground.
When people drive past Dan Seguin's house on Cassells St. they are either amused or annoyed
The artist, who describes himself as "crazy but not insane" ran for mayor in the last election, and is in a running battle with City Hall staff.
Call him what you like, but he's a colourful guy.
And now a Canadore student, under the direction of Professor Neil Brown, has filmed a four minute documentary featuring Seguin called "The Art of Collecting."
Curtis Carriere is a second year Broadcasting - Television and Video Production student who plans on going into the Digital Cinematography program starting in the Fall of 2017.
"Some people call Dan Seguin a hoarder, but he calls himself a junk repurposer," says Carriere. "He is North Bay's eccentric artist whose work is on display 24 hours a day at his Cassells Street residence. In this video, we get to know Dan and we get to understand why he is so passionate about his craft."
