Near North Crime Stoppers hopes to take a bite out of the local opioid scene by guaranteeing a $1,000 reward during the months of October, November, and December.
The money is for information leading to the seizure of opiates or the arrest of individuals involved in the illegal distribution of opiates.
Jean Lemieux, Police Coordinator, says in a news release that it hopes to "assist its police partners in preventing the illegal sale/distribution" of opiates.
