A man who used an electronic device to assault a clerk at a convenience store on Fisher Street yesterday is in jail awaiting a show cause hearing at the North Bay Courthouse.
At 8 a.m. on November 25, North Bay police officers responded to reports of the assault.
Police say the clerk tried to intervene in an argument between two people known to each other. When the clerk intervened, a man threw "an electronic device at the victim" causing minor physical injuries.
Officers arrested the man at the convenience store.
Lucas Shane Moreau, 31, of North Bay, is charged with "assault with a weapon."
