Derek Corbeil, one of the three owners of the new bakery, was thrilled to show their new business is already giving back.
"That very first day when we opened the doors it was all for the hospital," admits Corbeil
"Not one penny came to us, all the proceeds, all revenue, everything.
"That first day when we opened the door our team rocked it. We are proud to be able to be part of the community and to be able to choose the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation as our very first community day, it means so much to us."
Tammy Morison, CEO of the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation was humbled by the donation.
"We are so inspired by their generosity," she said.
"For the community supporting their business, we are just so happy they have been embraced as a new business. We are here today and it has been a revolving door for the 35 minutes we have been here. It was a real honour to be the first recipient at their community day and we are looking forward to future community days and working with them as community partners in the future."
