City, local business team up to keep Centennial merch costs low

Centennial-branded items are available now through Source for Sports and include T-shirts, hoodies, ball caps, and toques — with an aim toward keeping prices reasonable so North Bay can gear up for a year of celebration

As the City of North Bay's 100th anniversary approaches in 2025 it is partnering with the locally-owned Source for Sports outlet to launch an online apparel and merchandise store for Centennial-branded items.

The City says it is pleased to be able to offer both online and in-person purchasing options, making Centennial apparel accessible and affordable for the community. Included in the store are T-shirts, hoodies, ball caps, and toques — all sold at cost.

"To keep prices as low as possible, there’s no markup on products from the City's end," explains Gord Young, the communications officer. "The product lineup may also expand throughout the year, with the potential for new items to be added."

According to Source for Sports, the store will be open throughout 2025, with monthly order processing. Delivery is available for an additional fee or you can pick up your items in-store at 1321 Fisher St.
