You'll notice enhanced COVID-19 screening at City Hall next time you visit.

Beginning Tuesday, Oct. in addition to the mandatory use of face coverings, everyone entering City Hall will be subject to COVID-19 screening questions and a ‘no-touch’ temperature check. If you are experiencing symptoms of the virus or have an elevated temperature, you will not be allowed entry.

The City’s Customer Service Centre and Provincial Offences Administration Office continue to offer in-person services weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for services including tax/water payments, parking rental sales, burn permit purchases, parking ticket payments, payment of POA fines, and the completion of extensions for fine payments.

Access to residential rental housing, business, marriage, and lottery licensing, as well as building plan submission and permit issuance will continue to be available by appointment.

In order to minimize line-ups, you are encouraged to use online options or the dropbox outside City hall.

Other health and safety precautions remain in place at City Hall, including floor markings to support physical distancing requirements, and signage to help with traffic flow and maximum occupancy.
