North Bay City Hall lowered its flags today out of respect for Québec City and those impacted by Sunday night’s attack at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Québec.
A book of condolence has also been made available for the public to sign.
Those wishing to write a message of condolence can do so until Friday, February 3 at 12 p.m. in the lobby at City Hall, 200 McIntyre St. E.
"We stand with fellow Canadians as citizens of North Bay, in sadness, with this senseless act of violence. As a community we believe in inclusion, acceptance, peace and tolerance,” said Mayor Al McDonald. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and all families touched by this horrific event.”
