City bus routes changing

North Bay Transit will be implementing seasonal adjustments to the 1c McKeown Corridor, and 8 Eastview-Algonquin routes this fall.

Starting Sept. 3, the 1C McKeown Corridor will operate at a 30-minute frequency, Monday through Friday from Algonquin at Shirreff starting at 7:10 a.m. with the last departure at 10:10 p.m. The 8 Eastview-Algonquin will operate Monday to Friday with departures from the Transit Terminal every 60 minutes from 7:20 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. and from 6:50 p.m. with the last departure at 9:50 p.m. The 8 Eastview-Algonquin will be servicing the ONTC Station - Stop 8001 every trip.

The scheduling and frequency changes are in response to increasing ridership as students return to school. All other North Bay Transit routes and timetables will remain unchanged, including Dynamic Dispatching.
