Charges pending in Lakeshore Drive MVC 10 photos

A dinnertime accident at the junction of Lakeshore Drive and Pinewood Park Drive had traffic slowed to a crawl Sunday evening.

North Bay Police Service and North Bay Fire Department responded to the call at 5:45pm where a red Ford pickup truck had collided with a green Honda.

Initial reports indicate the truck was traveling up Lakeshore Drive and proceeding through a green light when the Honda shot through the red light.

The driver of the Honda was taken to hospital and is being treated for head injuries that are not life threatening.

Charges are pending as police continue their investigation.
