It appears North Bay will have to wait a little longer than it hoped to see Jerry O’Connell back in the city.
It was anticipated that filming of season two of Carter starring O’Connell would resume in the late summer or early fall.
The much-anticipated series shot in North Bay and area in the summer of 2017, premiered on Bravo back on May 15th and members of the cast and crew - including O’Connell - came to North Bay for a premiere screening that night.

That night the producers even told the crowd they were looking forward to shooting season two this summer in North Bay.
“It’s a lot of fun and we have more to look forward to in season two,” O’Connell told the crowd that night.
But according to city officials, it does not look like that’s the case.
“Unfortunately, I do not have any firm dates for Season 2 to share at this point,” stated Tanya Bédard, Economic Development Officer with the City of North Bay.
Since the Carter TV series run on Bravo, CTV started running the series in late July and WGN America picked it up at the start of August.

On top of that, O’Connell has agreed to host his own talk show on Bravo which has led speculation, that O’Connell’s latest gig may have pushed back production of season two of Carter into 2019.
