The Canadian Screen Award nominations have been announced and season two of Cardinal, which was filmed in North Bay, is in the running for 14 awards.
According to CKAT, They include Best Limited Series or Program, Best Lead Actor in a Drama Program or Limited Series for Billy Campbell and Best Lead Actress in a Drama Program or Limited Series for Karine Vanasse.
Other nominations include best direction, writing, photography, supporting actor and more.

Meantime, Jerry O’Connell is up for best lead actor in a drama series for his portrayal of Harley Carter in the Carter TV series, which is also filmed in North Bay.
The 2019 awards will be handed out at the end of March during Canadian Screen Week.
